Senior WordPress Web Developer

We are looking for an amazing SENIOR WordPress Developer who can work with little instructions and has EXCELLENT communication skills. You will be working alongside a marketing team of creatives who will prepare photoshop files of website layouts which you will have to create in WordPress and make sure the websites are completely responsive and integrate any API’s requested by client. We need a WP developer who pays pixel-perfect attention to details, and has a keen eye for clean and polished UI implementation.

Responsibilities
• Play a central role in the development and delivery of marketing projects
• Develop both desktop and mobile friendly (responsive) websites
• Maintain WordPress environments, expanding custom built themes, developing new features, workflows, functions, configurations and process/system documentation
• Develop code to enable us to easily embed dynamic information
• Responsible for working with designers and providing feedback based on implementation capabilities
• Pull from back-end APIs for building pages with dynamic content
• Leverage javascript and other programming languages for building out the site (PHP PHP, HTML5, CSS3, etc.)
• Experience setting up WordPress plug-ins

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience developing WordPress sites
• 5+ years relevant Digital Development industry experience; 3+ years of experience building highly available / scalable WordPress website in an Enterprise environment
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and other software languages used for web and mobile web development (i.e. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP required)
• Experience working with Divi and other themes (Please provide examples)
• Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
